Historic Places to Visit in Britain

Britain is a wonderful place to visit if you're interested in history, has a lot of castles, ancient monuments and tourist attractions.

London is home to some of the most famous monuments in Britain. Buckingham Palace and the infamous Tower of London can be visited as a group. You can also take one of those big red tourist bus around London and listed some of the history and attractions.

The British Museum

This museum has more history than any other museum in the world. Until five years ago, most of the museum's collections are hidden in the warehouse. Now the exhibits are full screen and ready to impress.




Stonehenge

Stonehenge is one of the most important human creations of the ancient world. Created by large stones, which had sailed from France to Great Britain, this is a work of art is believed was built between 3000 BC and 1600 BC

Very little is known about this mysterious place, but recent data may have been a burial mound of a king, has changed over the years in a religious icon. To date, the pilgrims and the Druids of the world continue to meet for the longest day of the year.






Glastonbury

Bath

Set in rolling countryside Somerset, just over 100 miles west of London, is a beautiful and unforgettable.






Tintagel Castle Tintagel-

Tintagel, Tintagel Castle is also part of the legend of Arthur. Although the castle ruins can now be seen, Tintagel is thought to be the place where Sage Mernyl, also known as Merlin, fought and lost the battle with Morgan le Fay. It is also believed to be the final resting place of the body of Merlin and his cave full of ancient knowledge and magic. Perfect for the historian at heart!
