Beautiful Places to Visit in France

Looking for places to visit in France? Some are well known and receive millions of tourists every year. Others are secret in France, you have to discover. Although this list is not complete, is expected to be able to find some good ideas here.

Brittany

Britain has one of the most spectacular scenery on the coast of France. High cliffs to the charm of small bays and beaches, have much choice. Inside, the landscape is equally diverse, with gentle countryside dotted with picturesque villages and forests of mythical legends.





Normandy

Choose the picturesque port of Honfleur at the famous Abbey of Mont St. Michel, this area is a must-see. Normandy is also known to be a place of relaxation, where the pastures green hills and picture-book village. Study visit Monet's garden at Giverny and, of Bayeux, or charming, Williams, who recounts the conquest of England in the 1066 Battle of Normandy has left its imprint on the region and has many monuments, memorials and museums to see here.





Paris

Paris is the world capital of art, food, wine and romance. Some of the must-have of course the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur in Montmartre and the Louvre. If possible, explore some of the lesser known but no less wonderful places like the Rodin Museum, the Conciergerie (where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned) and the exquisite Sainte-Chapelle.





Provence

Good weather and the intensity of colorful landscape of Provence is a popular tourist destination. Note the elegant city of Aix en Provence, Avignon with its famous bridge and the Palace of the Popes, and Arles, boast of important Roman and medieval monuments.



Do not forget to explore the smaller towns of Provence and the surrounding countryside. The fortified village of Les Baux is a large, spending the day in St-Remy, sipping rosé wine in an outdoor cafe, is a happy way to spend an afternoon.

Dordogne / Perigord

Dordogne, southwest France, is known for having some of the best prehistoric art in the world. Not only that, you will find dozens of hilltop castles and medieval towns to explore, rivers to canoe or relax on a houseboat.





There are many places to visit in France, you may feel a bit 'overwhelmed. But do not despair if you do not agree to everything (it's just an excuse to keep coming back!).
